Studio Friday - March 1 2006 - Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue!
My last Friday's submission, I know it is wednesday night already... But it took me longer & longer to draw watercolor it. Feel so good to be doing more drawing practice!
As the title suggests:
Something old: the Japanese notebook that I got years ago while travelling in Japan. I never used it since it is too beautiful for me to pollute it !!
Something new: the heart shape hot water bag I received on valentine's day~~
Something borrowed: the pile of books borrowed from university library represented by a single book here at the background.
Something blue: Egyptian cat goddess keychain from British Museum also received as VDay gift. it is supposed to be in Egyptian Blue, but had so difficulty to mix anything close to it... Though it doesn't come any close to matching the gorgeous color in real life, I still like this a lot since I got to draw so many things I love!! with a new pack of watercolor travel kit just bought today!! Yeah!! It is a bit pricey but it will become an everyday travel companion in my backpack~~
