I have a few postcards with portraits on them. Never quite know what to do with them since I got them from someone else. Then I dug out my art supplies, found my white uni-ball Signo pen and started to doodle. Here is Einstein~ Going to do a few more and then send them out for swaps. :D

I have been working on my final assignment for the Font and Colour class. 1 more week, then I will be done! Then 3 more different classes to go to get the Graphic Design Certificate!! Yeah!!

I'm done with the art journal for May to Aug! I'm now onto the third art journal. ( I have done art journal for a few years now but this is the third journal that fits into my leather planner. It is light and easy to carry so it goes with me throughout the day. ) I'm happy that this journal system seems to be working for me and glad to see how the pages turn out so far. Though I would like to draw more people, buildings, and things instead of just food. My journal pages really seem to be a food log of some kind... :p Also it is handy to keep business cards, stickers, or anything you find interesting and then stick them onto the journal pages. It helps to bring up memories for an event, easier to do layout and can help to turn a page into something more interesting. See you next week! :D

I have to be honest, I'm playing catch up with some of my art journal pages. It is now August but I'm still posting pages from July... -_-: The first page is about my delicious lunch with Mr. C at Wan Chai Frites. Definitely one of the great restaurants in the district. The next page is about our trip to Kowloon City. Kowloon City is full of little restaurants. Many are Thai, some are dim sum, and then a few for Chinese hotpot. We went to one of our fav Thai restaurants there. The next page is about our congee dinner and the cumcumbers from our garden. P.S. I have installed Line on my smartphone. Their stickers are so adorable :D

I'm working on an assignment for my font class. Draw up all these strokes and getting ready to make a piece of interesting drawing with them. Will post it when finished.

Some of my art journal pages don't have much writing on them since there are times when I don't feel like sharing too much personal details on the blog or when I'm working on super secrecitve projects or when I'm just too lazy~~~ I will fill them in afterwards so I guess you will see a complete journal when I do the journal "flip" video. I'm really into drawing food and candy. Japanese candy always has the most interesting design and wrapping. I bought the 2 in the first photo just for the interesting package alone... :D

Got a pocket mirror and a postcard by Gemma Correll from La Belle Epoque along with a Brave pin by Saluto. I managed to turn the pin into part of a leather bracelet so I can wear it everyday and a leather holder for the pocket mirror. Will post photos soon. Mr. C and I finally managed to go watch Ironman3 (2D). We both like it. It is more about being a person than a superhero. Going to rent the Avengers to check out the NY story.  Almost done with this art journal, just 1 page left. Going to do a flip through video of it later on. Take Care :D
