{ What I MAde ~ Happy Jar - May 2014 }

I made this Happy Jar before we moved in April. I found an empty glass jar at home, decorated it with some masking tapes. (The two at the bottom are from MT, the first one from Maste.) I wrote my happy moments on scrap papers then put them in. When I feel down, I will pick out any random happy moments captured inside to cheer myself up. :D There is even a board for Happiness Jar on Pinterest.

Grateful: I learnt and made 3 new dishes within the week. They're Beef, Beans Sprouts with Seasame Sauce, Mixed Peas Veggi Soup and Dumpling with Soup. The first two are delicious! The dumplings not so good, will have to change the ingredients next time.              感恩：我學會了3個新的菜。他們是芝麻醬牛肉，營養雜菜湯和上湯水餃 。前兩個好好吃！餃子不太好，下一次會改它的成分。 Grateful: I finished reading Interworld! Grateful for the dim sum dinner Mr. C and I had. We're in Tai Wai looking for a new place to eat then we came across a really old dim sum place 裕富小廚 with lots of people inside. We decided to give it a try and it is delicious! Will go back for sure! 感恩: C先生和我在大圍找到一個新的地方吃點心晚飯，裕富小廚, 有好多人，點心好好吃！肯定會回去！ Grateful for the wonderful book InterWorld . Just finished reading it. I love Hue~  感恩: 剛剛讀完 InterWorld 。我愛Hue 〜 Grateful for the pen refills, ink pad, sketchbook and a new book I got from a local bookstore. They were having a 20% off sale for members! I'm happy to say that I broke my rule about not getting a new book coz it is a book that I would love to read. It is The Happiness Advantage: The Seven Principles of Positive Psychology That Fuel Success and Performance at Work ! :D Already finished chapter 1 of the book, will do a post on it later on. 感恩: 我從樓下的書店買了筆芯，印台，寫生簿和一本新書。他們有一個8折的會員折扣銷售！我很高興買了一本新書，The Happiness Advantage: The Seven Principles of Positive Psychology That Fuel Success and Performance at Work 已經完成了這本書的第1章，稍後會寫一個關於它的博客文章。 Grateful for all the love and opportunities around us. Grateful for the new dishes I learnt to cook. Well Mr. C is even more grateful about this than I am.... :D 感恩 ~ 我學會了做新菜。  Grateful that I have finally finished reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I have not read a good fiction for years mainly because I read more "instructional books" nowadays and that I have long decided to finish reading all the books that I have at home before buying any new books. I will try to get the next two books of the series from a library sometime in 2014. 感恩 ~ 我終於讀完龍紋身的女孩。我沒有讀好的小說多年，主要是因為現在我讀了更多的“instructional 的書”和我很早就決定要看完家裡所有的書，才買的新的。 Grateful for the watercolor kit#2 that I made recently. I put together the 1st kit in 2013 but due to the limited color options available at the local art supplies stores I was not able to get as much colors in the kit as I would like. After reading what some other people do online, I decided to make one using watercolor tubes instead of pre-made pans. Grateful for the opportunity to travel to Japan. 感恩 ~ 到日本旅行的機會。 Grateful for the wonderful time we had there, would love to go and visit Kyoto and Nara again in the future. 感恩 ~ 日本旅行美好的時光，我很想再次到京都和奈良。 Grateful for the nice sunny weather we're having here in Hong Kong. I have 3 sets of pre-cut colour papers at home for years and finally decided to make them into something fun and practial. I covered the front and back covers with MT washi tapes, glued them onto thick cardboards, hole punched and added plastic binding ring. Done!~

The pages inside are for writing down my "everyday to-do" and "small happiness".  ("Small happiness" means "小確幸" in Japanese.) I now carry this mini-book in my handbag with me everywhere~ It makes me happy just looking at it. :D

我有3套色紙在家，終於決定用他們做一些有趣的小東西。先用MT紙膠帶貼在封面與封底，加厚紙板，打孔加binding ring。完成! 〜

我用內頁寫下“每天都要做的事情”和“小確福”。只要看著我的熊記事本，就讓我好高興 ! :D
